Home Insurance Products

Home insurance is used to protect from natural disasters and accidents that cause damage to many people's largest physical asset. Home insurance can protect from fire, wind, hail, freezing, burst pipes, hurricanes, and much more. Home insurance also does not cover certain risks - and so we want to be advisers to our clients on how they can get the coverage they need at a great price.

We represent over 20 different AM Best A rated companies and make sure we advise our clients on the right coverage at a great price by shopping through all of them at the same time, so that we can save you the time of doing it yourself. Not all home insurance companies are alike. You may find sometimes that you get what you pay for - and so we make sure that the companies we work with handle claims properly.

Summary of Our Coverages

  • The main coverage for your policy. This covers the house from the perils listed on your policy. This is where most of the premium comes from.

  • Covers any other structures that are not attached to your house. The most common examples are a fence, a shed, a detached garage, or a pool.

  • Covers all of your belongings inside of your house, including your appliances and major systems. Most people have much more than they think they do.

  • Covers you in the event that you or a tenant can no longer live in the house due to a covered loss, by paying for the expenses to rent another similar size home and associated costs until you are back on your feet. This can cover lost rent as well for rental properties.

  • Covers you in the event that another individual gets injured on your property. This can occur from a variety of reasons and be completely out of your control. This is also extremely inexpensive on a home insurance policy and should always be as high as possible.

  • Covers you if water backs up into the house from either a failed sump pump or from a clog in your sewer/septic system. This can occur through a backup of water in your toilet or washing machine disposal amongst other scenarios. Many policies only provide $5,000 of coverage so discuss increasing this to a higher limit.

  • Covers your utility lines under the yard such as your sewer main, septic, water main, electric, and others that are not normally covered by your policy. You must add this onto your policy.
